Welcome to the 2nd Annual POC Flounder Smackdown — where giggers, families, and die-hard Texas Coast anglers come together for two nights of lights, laughter, and fierce competition. What started as a small local gathering has quickly grown into one of Port O’Connor’s most talked-about gigging tournaments.

This event is all about community, conservation, and good old-fashioned Texas fun. Whether you’re rolling in with a stacked team of seasoned giggers or just coming out to enjoy the vibe, everyone’s welcome. Last year we raised money for local heroes, and this year we plan on doing even more — together.

From the mandatory Captain’s Meeting, to two nights on the flats, to Saturday’s weigh-in and lunch, this tournament was built to bring people together and give back at the same time.
